Venues need to have their own business / property insurance. If they do not it is at their own risk renting out their venues.

It depends entirely on your target market and how frequently you’d like it rented. The more affordable the venue hire cost the more frequently it’ll be rented.

How do I know if my venue is good enough?
Everyone has different taste, however everyone likes to feel comfortable in a space. So Venue Hunter suggests the following guidelines:
- A venue must be clean.
- Venue’s bathroom must be clean on arrival and throughout the event.
- People must feel safe on the way to & from a venue as well as when inside the venue.
Venues must to the best of their ability ensure the above. Venue Hunter is happy to assist you to figure it out.
Venue photos are very important in selling your venue. Here are some tips when taking photos:
- Keep your photos landscape.
- Have a good range of photos that capture your venue (including bathrooms)
- Have a set of core photos that don’t include people as they can detract from the space.
- However, include some photos / videos that show how the space can be used.
- Don’t over edit. Photos need to truthfully reflect the venue.
Currently we rely on comments from venue owners and users on their experiences. These will be posted on venue pages where appropriate.
